Our CNC machine is at the heart of our well stocked MAKERSPACE. It’s capabilities, precision and speed are unmatched by any other category of tools. CNC stands for computer numeric control, which means that all of the machines in this category are fabricated parts based upon computer input. Humphrey mainly cuts and carves wood, foam and plastic. Perfect for larger projects. The work area – 2440 x 1220mm.

LASER CUTTER The laser cutter uses a high energy focused laser beam controlled by the computer to vaporize a variety of materials, cool right? Although complicated at first, in practice it is a fairly easy to start making your first cuts. Our lasers engrave wood, acrylics, glass, ceramics, fabrics, among others. At Contact we have two laser cutter machines: a 60W LASER CUTTER and a 100W LASER CUTTER.

In our MAKERSPACE, we have a large number of hand tools you can use. Use of these tools are included in your membership. You are free to bring your own electrical and/or hand tools, but most of the tools we have available here!

The MAKERSPACE Workstation is a self-contained unit that creates an instant working space next to our MAKERSPACE and can be closed up and secured. With our MAKERSPACE Workstation you have a private workstation in our co-working space.

Also known as a panel saw or saw table. You can saw beams or large plates of wood (solid, glued, pressed or HPL of a maximum of 3.2 x 3.2 meters). It can also cut diagonally, cut diagonally and rip beams. The saw is adjustable in depth and it has a scoring saw that prevents you from getting a frayed edge at the bottom of the saw cut.
