Repere invites on the 17th of August local house labels @unsilenced.music & @locked.in.dam, along with the esteemed record caravan @taleofbus to take part in our first community gathering within the gardens of Contact.
With high hopes for a sunny day, the three local labels are invited to showcase their sound in a 2-hour set and connect in the ‘broedplaats.’ Expect an array of wonderful tunes from Sam van der Toure (Locked-In), @hugo.lilley & @malom____ (Unsilenced), @alex__sabe & @_armonie.onwax_ (Repere), and @daan.donk (Tale of Bus), plenty of record sharing, and smiles all around.
Tale of Bus will also open their record caravan throughout the day, giving you the opportunity to explore their collection and leave with a gem in your hands. There’s zero chance of departing with an unfulfilled appetite after going through their crates.
If your appetite desires a freshly baked focaccia, those will be served all day by the local Italian pizzeria. Make sure to grab one to fulfill all your senses.
Sound will be delivered by the mighty custom-made soundsystem, @solsystems. The Transylvanian-born ‘red system’ will provide an intimate 4-point surround experience on the dancefloor, offering an opportunity for all labels to showcase the deeper textures and layers of their favorite releases.
The event will be held entirely outdoors, in the gardens of Contact between 15:00 and 23:00.
The ticket fee also includes a €2.50 membership fee, which goes towards improving Contact as a cultural and event venue.
