Forgotten Gardens -- Seasonal Supper Club
May 3, 2025

Forgotten Gardens is a dining experience that explores the living material that nourishes us. Following a seasonal menu, we invite you on a journey through gardens of all sorts; those that bloom in the hands of the community, those that seed in our minds and imaginations, and those with the potential to flourish in our own surroundings.

In these gardens a story unfolds, one that reintroduces practices that connect us to the land, cultivating pathways to food beyond large, alienating systems. Each dish serves as a chapter of this narrative, inspired by concepts of gardening and shaped together with a network of artists, makers and growers—making ground for collaborative worldbuilding where we reclaim the garden as a local food-source and a space of transformation.

📅 Sunday, May 3rd, walk-in from 18h30, dinner starting at 19h

Join us for a vegetarian 4-course dinner (vegan options available) accompanied by storytelling, poetry, and live sound performance!

This dinner will be made possible thanks to various collaborators, some of which are:

MIST is an artist duo comprising Rebekka Bank (Denmark) and Tomastmt (Italy). They produce sculptural objects, performances, and installations into fictional narratives that inspire reflection on contemporary life and invite us to reconsider humanity’s place within the interconnected web of everyday life. Rebekka’s practice also incorporates cooking and she will be preparing the majority of the food for the event. Tomastmt is crafting many of the vessels and serving dishes specifically for this event.

Hannah (Canada) works across art management and event production, creating spaces where artistic practice and community come together. By exploring the intersection of cultural programming she brings people together to share conversations and experiences.

Nico (Italy) brings the taste of his home, with his own twist, to Amsterdam. He leads workshops that create a unique learning and culinary experience, while sharing his love for Italian comfort food. Nico is hand-making the pasta for the main course, crafted specially for this dinner. He is also developing the vegan and gluten free versions so that everyone can enjoy his work.

Notari (Italy) is an multidisciplinary artist and musician. His work moves between ambient, noise, and post-punk, blending raw sound textures with visual art and live improvisation. Throughout the evening, Paolo will be performing Tuftupa, an audiovisual performance combining ambient music and painting blending atmospheric soundscapes with visual art, creating immersive, meditative experiences that blur the boundaries between sound and image.

Eliza is the creator of LATO Fermentation Lab, a place where she handcrafts fermented goods and flower-flavored kombucha. The name "Lato," meaning summer in Polish, is a heartfelt tribute to the Polish countryside, the warm days of summer, and the fragrant flowers that filled her childhood memories. She will share her story by offering a little piece of summer, one sip at a time.

Alon’s Pickles specialises in fermenting local, organically grown vegetables in wooden barrels and ceramic crocks. They believe that fermenting local food can be a tool for change, focusing on healthy digestive and food systems for a healthy society and planet.
